Sometimes when you just arrive at an hotel you know that it is going to be the perfect stay. The smiles from the staff, the efficient check in procedures and an overall the friendly atmosphere. Well, that is exactly how it was at Kochi Marriott Hotel and it set the tone beautifully for what would be the perfect stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the moment I stepped through the door I had to take a second to appreciate the beauty of the lobby. With high ceilings, massive crisp white pillars and a gorgeous silver chandelier dripping from the ceiling, it is no doubt luxury oozes from every inch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kochi Marriott Hotel is in the perfect location to stay in while in Kochi, also known as Cochin. Being in the middle of the action you never have to travel far to your desired location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also the perfect base for exploring further afield in Kerala such as the famous backwaters in Alleppey or the tea covered town of Munnar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The international and domestic airport in Kochi is an easy twenty five minute drive away and the hotel can also organize a shuttle on request to make your stay<\/a> stress free. If you are wishing to visit the historic area of Fort Kochi jump in a taxi for the 50 minute drive (you can use uber like I did).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, for all you shopaholics out there, Lulu Mall is just a few minutes walk away, though they do provide a shuttle if required. This is the largest shopping mall in Asia! It is the perfect place to find all your clothing and electronic needs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I am a sucker for a beautiful hotel room, though combine that with amazing city views and I am in heaven! One of the key features of the Deluxe Room is the window, spanning one entire side of the room it provides uninterrupted views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roll over, push the switch to open the curtains and watch the sunrise from the comfort of your bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the most comfortable beds and plenty of pillows there is no doubt you will be having sweet dreams. The spacious room also has a desk, seating area, kitchenette and plenty of storage for your bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With wooden features and warm tones it has a delightful welcoming vibe making it the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lets not forget about the bathroom though! Carrying on the theme of the large glass windows you can push a button which will lift the shades in the shower. This creates one large space, you can even check out those most amazing city views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The room ultimately provides the perfect relaxing space. Whether you are enjoying the air conditioning, listening to television, enjoying the views from bed or washing off the day under the rain shower, there is a feature for everyone to fall in love with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
